Sworn Translator in Wroclaw

A sworn translation (tlumaczenie przysiegle) is a legally certified translation performed by a translator registered with the Polish Ministry of Justice. It carries an official round stamp, the translator's signature, and a repertorium number. This is the only type of translation accepted by Polish courts, government offices, and the civil registry for official purposes. It is different from a US/UK "certified translation" - which is simply a translator's own statement of accuracy.

Prices start from 55 PLN per standard page (1,125 characters incl. spaces) for English-to-Polish translations, and from 60 PLN per page for Polish-to-English. Common documents like a driving licence cost around 55 PLN, while a birth certificate is typically 120 PLN. Notary interpreting starts at 500 PLN/hour and wedding interpreting at 350 PLN/hour. You receive a precise quote within 30 minutes of sending your document scan.

A standard 1-2 page document (birth certificate, driving licence, diploma) is usually ready the next business day. Longer or more complex documents may take 2-3 days. Urgent same-day service is available for an additional fee. You will receive the estimated completion date together with your quote.

For quoting and preparing the translation, a clear scan or photo sent by email is sufficient. The translator will note on the translation whether it was made from the original or from a copy. Some institutions (e.g., courts, immigration office) may require the translation to state it was made from the original, so check with the requesting authority first.

Yes. Sworn translations performed by a translator registered with the Polish Ministry of Justice are accepted by all Polish institutions: courts, the civil registry (USC), immigration authorities (Urzad Wojewodzki), notaries, universities, and government offices. They are also accepted by foreign embassies and consulates in Poland.
